Spanish I:
Autoevaluación 1st Nine Weeks:
In Spanish I Honors, my goal is to learn how to communicate in Spanish at its most basic form. So far I feel my progression towards this goal is going at a smooth and steady pace. I have learned a lot so far. I have learned my numbers 1-100, how to describe a room, the days of the week (somewhat), things I need for class, how to tell time, tell someone my class schedule, and tell what we like by using the verb "Gustar."
There are many ways to learn Spanish. I learn best with simply studying straight out of the book. Although this is the more boring way to learn, other class activities really help, like oral presentations. I figure the main reason as to why I even try to learn Spanish is because of the major diversity in America. I believe soon everyone will know some basic Spanish due to the large increase of Hispanics.
Autoevaluación 2nd Nine Weeks:
After nearly completing the Spanish Honors I class, I can say with great confidence that my goal to learn basic communication is definitely fulfilled. During the second nine weeks, we covered a lot, like learning how to describe the weather, describing our families, talking on the telephone, etc. The easiest section for to learn this nine weeks was describing the weather. Making the weather forecast video was extremely fun and informational. I indefinably feel as though I could communicate with a Spanish speaker with some confidence after this nine weeks.

Spanish II:
Autoevaluación 1st 4 & 1/2 Weeks:
During the majority of the first 4 1/2 weeks, we have been reviewing simple things like conjugating verbs, using the verb "gustar" to describe things we like, and learning about Holidays. My reasons for learning and my ways of learning have not changed since I first started in Spanish I. This first 4 1/2 weeks I have not made a lot of progression towards my goals but I can see great things in the near future.

Autoevaluación 2nd 4 & 1/2 Weeks:
During the 2nd 4 1/2 weeks, we have learned a lot like telling how long someone has been doing something using hace + que. We have also learned direct object pronouns. My communication skills in Spanish are showing signs of progress, so I believe I am making way way to finishing up my goals from Spanish I. I still haven't thought of any new goals.
Autoevaluación 3rd 4 & 1/2 Weeks:
During the 3rd 4 1/2 weeks, we have learned a lot about the preterit tense. We have learned a lot of vocab along the way and definitely a lot of irregular verbs. During this time I have been learning best through time alone studying, even though the in-class review does help. My goals still remain the same and I feel they are coming to a close. I still have no knew goals.
Autoevaluación 4th 4 & 1/2 Weeks:
During the 4th 4 & 1/2 weeks, we have learned quit a bit about the imperfect tenses. Since there isn't a lot of irregulars in the imperfect, it comes easier than the preterit tense. We have a lot of vocab along the way, such as telling about our childhood. During this time, I have learned best through the projects assigned. Having to focus on the project really helps you learn this material. I believe I have finely completed my goals, but this time I did think of a new goal. My new goal is to come back senior year and still know preterit vs. imperfect:)
